Our Story

With over 30 years of construction experience, BRS has grown to over $7 million in sales and service since the company's inception in 2012.  Scott Schurman's wealth of knowledge in all arenas of construction business has propelled the completion of over thirty projects each year since 2013.  Projects have included a diverse range of trades:

  • Complete wood shingle roof replacement on a historic church in Laurel, DE
  • Pedestrian Bridge at Hoopers Landing in Seaford, DE
  • Remediation of water infiltration at a condominium in Rehoboth Beach, DE
  • Interior renovations at the Police Station in Centreville
  • Structural stabilization of Parks & Recreation Building in Delaware City, DE
  • Roof replacement of 21,000 square feet of Bellevue State Park in Wilmington, DE
  • Replacement of domestic & mechanical hydronic piping building loops in concealed pipe chases at a 54-unit condominium in Rehoboth, DE
  • Window replacement at the Delaware State University Price Building, Dover, DE
  • Interior renovations on the former PNC Bank building which now houses the City of Milford Billing Department - new offices created which included millwork, finishes, HVAC, plumbing and electrical
  • Nurse station renovation at the Herman Holloway Campus in New Castle, DE
  • Entrance signage at the historic Bellmont Hall in Smyrna, DE
  • Installation of two Samsung HVAC Mini Split System with fresh air intake at Conwell Hall at Delaware State University, Dover, DE
  • Plaster and plaster cornice repair at Sykes Building on The Green in Dover, DE
  • Converted open office space into a five office suite.  Work included demolition, metal studs, drywall and modification to the building's VRF mechanical system to provide heating and cooling for the newly created individual spaces at the Delaware State University, Dover, DE
